GOT SKILLS?
PROVE IT…..at the Skills Challenge
When: Friday, June 24th after Team Parade until finished
Where: Phillips Park, Fields 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
Skills Challenges:
· HOME RUN DERBY!!! (only 225’!), supply your own pitcher Field 4 & 5
o Carry a BIG STICK? Step up to the plate, take ‘em DEEP and get your name on the LEADER BOARD!!
o Batter will get 8 pitches or 5 swings. Foul balls count as a swing.
· ‘Round the Horn Field #1
o How fast can you and your teammates get the ball around the field?
o Fastest time will put you and the boys on top!!
· TOP GUN Field #3
o Can you NAIL that runner at the plate when the game is on the line? Step up to the mark and show us just how accurate you really are
o Players will get 5 throws from the Outfield to a fixed target in the Infield
· INSIDE THE PARK HOME RUN SPEED CHALLENGE Field #2
o Think you can get AROUND THE BASES when that outfielder let it through his legs? Step up to the plate and let us time you to see who has the fastest wheels on the Diamond.
o Players will get two chances to show just how fast they really are
Cost:
· $5.00 per Skill Challenge
· $20.00 for FIVE Challenges (Player’s choice of events)
Awards
· 1st in each Skill Challenge will receive a CHAMPION Trophy!
