Coaches and Players WILL NOT^ be told what team they are on until they check in.
If you are chosen as a Team Manager and wish to have a certain assistant coach help you - please inform Mike when you regester with him - Also - TELL him the name(s) of your child / children so they can be placed on the same team with you. Last year we had several coaches whose step children were placed on other teams becasue we did not know they were their step children (different last names)
Players and coaches are not told what team they are on for several reasons.
1. The surprise factor makes it more fun.
2. To prevent teams from practicing when others can't. (Even if its just three or four players)
3. So parents don't complain and come up with a dozen reasons why their child shouldn't play on that team for that coach or with "that" other player.
I realize with family traveling in from all over the State this is a pain, but - most of the teasm will play their first game at either 10 AM or 12 PM.
